Is democracy self defeating?

Politicians are not like they use to be like after WWII where they cared about the people of this country. Now days all they care about is staying in party lines and do'nt care what the people want just the ones in their back pocket. Health care right now is bankrupting this country the way it is but they wo'nt fix it cause they do'nt want to hurt the insurance company that is in their back pocket and they call their self non profit. All the executives gets big bonuses and donate a lot of money to the republicans to stop the overhaul. The doctor male practice ins. went up. Mine said his doubled from 40 grand to 80 grand in one year with no major lawsuits. So in order for this to work again we have to take the politician out of Washington. Clean it up we have to all pay a fair tax at a flat rate and do it fast with no deductions
