Is it too much to ask my husband to help around the house?

How do I ask and not feel guilty when he complains? He works about 40-45 hours a week. But I also work about 10-15 hours a week at home answering the phone. I have a 2 and 3 year old at home also. I feel over- whelmed for some reason.
