Mumbai saw ladies in woolen monkey caps fully covering heads1st time in history, lesson to president of India?
Last week Mumbai city, most modern Indian city, the most fashionable city, witnessed coldest possible days in its history having temperature going to 8.5 degree Celsius sending strong cold waves, compelling people to wear warm clothes. Ladies had to wear woolen warm monkey caps covering their entire face leaving only two eyes exposed to air through two holes made for them, particularly in the morning while going for works. That was necessity of weather. Is it a good lesson to be learnt by woman president of India Smt. Pratibha Patil who talked against women wearing veils in any condition, branding that to be backward following Muslim's traditions, imposed by Mughals on people of India under force, as a sign of slavery as if people have no right to choose their own clothes as per their free wishes ? Am I wrong ?
